ABOUT VINYASA YOGA WITH DIVINE FLOW

This is a dynamic practice linking breath and movement through a creative series of postures (asana). With a strong emphasis on alignment, allowing time to explore and experience each movement while cultivating strength and build heat within the internal body.

With the aim to be physically and mentally inspiring our vinyasa carefully sets you up for stronger peak poses with the possibility of including arm balances. Each teacher will creatively curate a class that will keep you on your toes making this practice fun, engaging and rewarding.

What are the benefits of Vinyasa Yoga?

The Vinyasa class will revitalise your system while moving static energy through your body. If you wish to feel challenged, create internal fire while still being able to breath organically between each pose and rest as needed, moderate flow may be your ideal class style.

Moderate flow is a great transition from foundational beginner yoga and are ready to deepen your practice by gaining further strength, mobility and mindfulness.

A good tip for this class is to come without any expectations on yourself and be light in your approach. No practice will ever be the same!

Is Vinyasa Yoga right for me?

This class is suitable for all levels of experience, strength and flexibility with the teachers providing variations and modifications of the poses. Be willing to be challenged physically and mentally. This class is good for someone that wants to progress their practice into something stronger, creative and dynamic.

If you have never practiced before we suggest you either start with the Beginner class or alternatively feel free to contact us and we can direct you to the right classes.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A VINYASA YOGA CLASS WITH DIVINE FLOW?

Immerse yourself in one hour of meditative warm up, dynamic flow, balancing series, spinal strength and conditioning and a slow warm down.

This class will challenge both your mind and body, lending self inquiry to your practice throughout the flow and meditation at the end. This practice is offered with music and can also include props

Petra

Petra’s meeting with the ancient path of Yoga began over a decade ago. This mysterious path lead Petra through a process of deconstruction and creation, self-inquiry, healing and awakening.

Through devotion, studies, curious exploration and passion to be in service Petra was initiated into the path of Yoga, healing and women’s mysteries.

Her offering on the mat is to guide human beings to embody the language of the body and the wisdom that each one of us carry within our hearts by weaving together the ancient practice of Yoga and her devotion and connection with the teachings from nature and native wisdom.
Her teachings invite the opportunities to evolve together in community, transcending duality and remembering how to walk with respect, integrity, purpose, clarity and kindness on the Earth.

In co creation with the earth Petra holds breathwork, cacao ceremonies and women’s rituals. She is a doula in training and passionate about supporting women in reclaiming their essence through feminine embodiment, conscious movement and ceremonies.

Petra has trained in Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga and Yin.

Tash Talevski

Tash comes from an experienced background in Personal Training, with a depth of anatomical knowledge. Submerged in the world of health and fitness from a young age, she quickly developed a love and fascination of the human vessel.

Movement through space, with awareness on breath, became profound and necessary tools in her journey toward self-exploration and transformation. In her quest to deepen this inner exploration, Tash eventually found herself living in Mexico at the Hridaya Yoga Centre. Here, immersed in a yogic lifestyle and the traditional Hatha teachings, was the start of her ongoing yoga journey. She has since completed multiple trainings, taught in retreats overseas and continues to inquire with awe into the nature of the human organism.

Tash believes much of our “knowing” has been limited to the brain alone, where many aspects of ourselves cannot be truly met. She draws from her coaching background, in-depth anatomical knowledge and diverse movement education, to guide her students through an integrated practice of conscious anatomical and energetic explorations in order to deepen the Mind-Body experience.

She views each movement practice as a portal for conscious connection with our self and the world around us, and aims to inspire in her students a curiosity of the self – to feel, taste and honour each breath, and subtle bodily sensation as a gateway into revelation.

Vanessa Garbellini

Vinyasa | Slow Flow | Restorative

Vanessa was born and raised in Brazil, her first experience with yoga was back in 2007 and she deeply embraced yoga as a lifestyle since then.

She explores fluid and dynamic sequences. Her offers are created in a way of exploring the physical, mental, emotional, so as subtle body, creating a relationship within the holistic beings we are, where, the movement becomes a meditative practice when syncing with the breath and awareness.

She holds 400hrs of yoga teacher training and is currently studying towards her 500hrs as she learns the mysteries of Ayurveda.

Vanessa believes that, it is our birth right, to come back to our natural state of being, as we release what no longer serve us anymore and open up the space to realign, to feel connected, happy, free, compassionate and authentic as we hold joy within our hearts – yoga gives us permission to step into our true selves as we rescue ourselves and thrive in life.
