Class Descriptions

Moderate Vinyasa

Let’s find our groove on our mats together! Vinyasa is a medium-high intensity class that focuses on breathing to transition between postures. Its very smooth flow enables us to connect with our mind, body and breath. This class appeals to both intermediate and advanced yogis as we move in our own time to establish our personal foundation. This is your time to dive deeper inwards to play with some arm balances, balancing postures and most importantly.. to be creative!

Mums and Bub Club

Calling out to our beautiful MAMAS!! Come join our NEW Mum and Bub Club! A time to connect with your Bub, deepening the quality of your breath and connecting with your body among a group of like-minded mamas!

 

Divine Yang to Yin

Combining two very beautiful yoga styles exclusive to Divine Flow. Vinyasa + Yin = bliss. Join for 30 mins of vinyasa and 30 mins for Yin whilst you build heat to then float away deeply into restorative poses. A class not to miss, most of our members build this into their weekly routine. Come to this class at least once or twice a week for some grounding and nourishment.

 

Pilates

Define your muscles and awaken your core from the inside out! We use resistance bands to stretch and also challenge our muscles. This class is open to all levels including our Beginner students. This class will compliment your yoga practice. Try getting to one weekly!

 

Beginner Yoga

Yes, you! come along. We are known for running beginner programs on the Northern Beaches. We teach you from the ground up! We work with stiffness, injuries, Male and Female! We all start somewhere and this class is perfect for you to ease into. We want you to feel comfortable 🙂

Divine YIN

Create softness in your practice. The tranquil, introverting, restful energy of Yin is the necessary counter-balance to dynamic Yang activity. Our teachers will guide you through the deep stationary poses of Yin, providing the perfect practice ground for letting go and breathing through sensations, allowing for powerful transformation and healing to take place, nourishing mind, body and soul.

Divine Hatha

A gentle style to ease into yoga. Invite mobility back into the body and ease tension by slowly releasing into surrendering postures. This takes great patience and steadfastness of mind to accept where the body is in a posture and allow the body to unfold over time. Perfect for a beginner!

Teen Yoga

This fun and creative series of classes for teens has been especially designed for young adults. Yoga is wonderful for helping teens develop focus, become more aligned, mindful, conscious, improve posture and cope with tensions in all areas of life. They will be challenged and also relaxed in this yang to yin inspired class. Lastly, they have the opportunity to meet other like minded young adults in a great space.

 

Restorative Yoga

We all need restoring from time to time! Restore for the week ahead with this class. A regeneration of the tissues and a calming manipulation of the fascia around our muscles. A moment for you. I need it, you need it, we all need it! Suitable for beginner and advanced yogis.

 

Divine Flow (slow flow)

A slow flow designed to move you with ease and grace. Take your time in feeling the poses and how the affects wash over your body. We give you space to flow at a slow tempo. Expect your typical vinyasa style moves but there is no rush here! Enjoy taking your time with us.

Divine Zen

Divine Zen is designed specifically for the season at hand., We will mix specific postures and movements with breathing techniques to create a better relationship to your internal self, and how we relate to our environments. A slightly different approach to classical asanas, we will have movements that allow you too feel where and how your body and mind is and isn’t adaptable. Based in traditional Chinese medicine, yin and yang, zen and yoga, we will explore an approach to practice that gives you more options in your everyday movement, mindset and experience.
