Marvel Rivals Season 4 buffed and nerfed several Strategists (healers), and if you play support a lot, you’ll know it’s not just about keeping teammates alive anymore. You have to balance healing multiple allies, using your ult at the right time, staying alive, and even dealing damage if the situation calls for it.
With this update, it’s a good time to look back and rank their effectiveness. This article is for players who want to know: Who are the best Strategists Marvel Rivals has to offer right now?

Marvel Rivals Strategist Tier List: Best Support Characters Ranked
Here are our picks in the Marvel Rivals tier list for Strategists, ranked from weakest to the absolute best in Season 4.
#9. Ultron
Ultron is the latest addition to the Marvel Rivals Strategists. He has decent healing, but it’s mostly focused on one ally, so he’s not exactly built for healing multiple teammates. However, his ultimate does a lot of damage, so many players use it more for nuking enemies rather than healing.
In big fights, when two or three teammates need healing at once, Ultron often falls behind. Also, because his healing tends to require good aim and positioning, if the enemy is pushing aggressively, Ultron can be overwhelmed. It’s best to pair him with another healer so he’s not your only support.
#8. Loki
Loki is among the most flexible Strategists in Marvel Rivals, though he has a high skill ceiling. Once mastered, his kit allows clever plays with invisibility, illusions, and runestones that create healing zones (which multiply with each projected illusion). His illusions also distract enemies, giving teammates lots of breathing room.
His healing isn’t always reliable without precise aim, especially for flying teammates. His ultimate also leans more toward utility or damage than healing. For players who like trickery and disruption, Loki shines—but for great healing, he trails a bit behind the best healers Marvel Rivals has right now.
#7. Invisible Woman
Invisible Woman has a great deal of survivability thanks to her ability to turn invisible and quickly regenerate health. This helps her avoid damage, stay alive, and keep healing. Her ultimate also offers great extra value by cloaking allies in a zone, healing them over time, and slowing any enemies who enter it.
The only catch is that she doesn’t heal as much or as quickly as the other healers, which ranks her lower on this Marvel Rivals Strategist tier list. In clutch moments when many allies are near death, she might not bring enough raw healing to pull everyone up. Her strength instead lies in preventing damage before it happens.
#6. Jeff the Land Shark
Jeff got a significant buff in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5, gaining damage on his primary attack instead of only healing. His healing is strong but works best when teammates stay grouped—if they’re spread out, its impact drops off, making his effectiveness heavily reliant on team positioning.
His ultimate can still be powerful when timed well, though it’s much easier to dodge now than it was at launch. In tight fights, healing multiple people takes time unless they’re standing near each other. Even so, Jeff is one of the easiest characters to play in Marvel Rivals, making him great for beginners.

#5. Rocket Raccoon
Rocket is great in many ways. He’s hard to hit because of his small size, so he often lives longer in matches. It also helps him escape sticky situations by climbing and running on walls. His ultimate got buffed in Season 2, which now gives bonus health on top of the damage boost, which helps in team fights.
His healing orbs are slow but have great range, bouncing off walls to reach allies out of sight. They latch onto allies for short bursts (they don’t stack on the same player), so positioning is key. Each orb heals for about two seconds, making timing critical. Rocket excels on maps with corners and verticality.
#4. Adam Warlock
Adam Warlock is a character who thrives on precise timing. His Soul Bond and Karmic Revival ultimate can literally change the game. He can regenerate once every 105 seconds, which basically gives him a second life most of the time. His main drawback is that Avatar Life Stream is capped at only two charges.
This means that he can run dry if fights drag on and require a lot of healing. Still, for clutch plays, Warlock is incredible. It’s best to pair him up with a Strategist who provides reliable sources of continuous healing. Even with these limitations, he’s one of the best supports in Marvel Rivals for skilled players.
#3. Mantis
Mantis is great for healing over time. She also buffs allies with bonus damage and can even put enemies to sleep, giving her an edge over persistent threats. What’s more, her kit converts offensive play (e.g., critical hits and headshots) into orbs, which can be consumed for healing allies.
This enables her to deal damage instead of only healing and supporting. The trade-off is that you need to be close to allies to use them, which can be tricky in spread-out fights. This is balanced with her ultimate, though, which is also almost as strong as Luna Snow’s ult.
#2. Luna Snow
Luna Snow is consistently ranked among the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals. Her healing range is excellent, and she can move quickly with ice skating, leap high, and freeze enemies. Her ultimate is the strongest healing ability in the game, often deciding matches in the final moments.
Luna’s Ice Arts let her self-heal while piercing targets, allowing her to deal solid damage in 1v1s while sustaining herself. She heals multiple allies quickly and reliably, and her mobility keeps her alive long enough to continually support the team.
#1. Cloak & Dagger
Opinions might vary on this one, but Cloak & Dagger are the best healers in Marvel Rivals across all seasons. They balance offense and healing really well. Dagger’s healing is excellent at both short and long range thanks to lock-on targeting and wall-bouncing, making it easier to support allies even under pressure.
Cloak helps with mobility and positioning, getting in and out of danger with his offensive skills. Their ultimate isn’t as flashy as Luna’s, but it still stabilizes fights while offering solid healing and damage. On top of that, Dagger can deal high damage with her Lightforce Dagger, which is especially effective against flying enemies.
